Kapamilya young heartthrob Inigo Pascual appears to be enjoying the current atmosphere of his career, with a new Hollywood movie and the recent launch of his own hair care brand, Herzy.

The new film will require him to fly to the United States for a look test, which means that his Pinoy fans will miss him, particularly his appearances in Manila. Thanks to his film with Joel Lamangan, fans were able to see him on his press tours.

Pascual has always been honest in press interviews, so when asked about his love life during the Herzy launch, he simply chuckled and told ABS-CBN News, "Focus muna tayo sa career."

In every milestone, his famous father, Piolo Pascual, would appear as expected by the public, while his mother would cheer him on from behind the scenes.

Praising his mother, the young actor and now entrepreneur shared with ABS-CBN News, “She just doesn’t like being in front of the camera, but she’s always there to support me.”

He added, “Even though my mom is more on the backstage side, she is more supportive of me than in front of the camera. Sobrang grateful ko. She travels with me. She goes in the Philippines with me. She was with me when I actually had my meeting with my (business) partners. She likes being a part of it. I’m happy.”

And as he works to increase his global visibility while constantly receiving remarks from netizens about being "Piolo's son," Pascual insists that there is no pressure.

“I am grateful. Without my father, I would not have had the opportunity to work in this industry. He is the reason why I am here. It's not much about the pressure, but more about being able to show what I can do as Inigo,” he told ABS-CBN News.

Entrepreneur era

Meanwhile, last May 23, Pascual debuted his own hair care line, Herzy, named after his grandfather, at The Fifth in Powerplant Mall, Makati City.

Pascual met his business partners, Lan Ros Tañedo and Dennis Valbuena of DL Wear Private, through showbiz friend Bela Padilla, who also owns skincare and perfume companies with them.

“I met them last December. I'm very grateful since they made my dream come true. After a few days of discussion, they were telling they had plans for my own brand and what products they would make. It was super fast. I completely trust them,” he said.

Tañedo and Valbuena teamed with Padilla to create Starpreneur, an event where company owners displayed their brands, including Nio Siggaoat, Valerie Lim, Mark and Spencer Elimanco, Audrey Ong, Jana Berenguer, Rich Garceron, Elvira, and Eleanor.

Pascual appeared onstage alongside a group of children to promote hair and body products. When asked why he started a hair care company, he replied, “Actually, men are more sensitive and attentive of their hair. It's similar to our accessory. When our hair looks fantastic, we feel better. The confidence we gain from our hair is significant.”

Meanwhile, business partner Valbuena discussed Pascual's hands-on approach as an entrepreneur, particularly when it comes to crafting looks and campaigns.

“Inigo understands exactly what he wants. And I'll add this: he's not just good looking, but also smart,” he said.
