Kristel Fulgar recently shared her apartment-hunting journey in South Korea as she and her husband, Ha Su-hyuk, prepare to move in together.
In her latest YouTube vlog, the actress and content creator documented their search as they visited several units before finally settling on an apartment they both liked.
Upon finding their ideal apartment, Kristel excitedly called her mother in the Philippines to share the news.
"May bahay na kami! So 'yung apartment na 'yun as in bagong bago. Walking distance sa kapilya, 120 sqm, not bad noh? Tatlo 'yung kwarto, dalawa 'yung CR," she told her mom. "Madali lang 'yung parking. May libreng isa."
The couple also shared clips of their furniture and décor shopping as they began setting up their new home.
"My heart is full as we slowly build the place we'll call home," Kristel remarked.
Fans online were quick to react to the Kristel's vlog.
"I'm so happy for you, Kristel. Excited sa bagong yugto ng buhay mag-asawa niyo ng hubby mo," one fan commented.
"Congratulations ❤ super nakakataba ng heart ma-watch to. It reminded me of the time my husband and I were the ones shopping for house stuff," another fan wrote.
Kristel and Su-hyuk tied the knot in Seoul last May. The actress had two wedding ceremonies, one held in a church and the other at a wedding hall reception.
In a previous vlog, Kristel relayed that she will be settling down in Korea after the wedding. "Since nandito ako sa Pilipinas, naka-LDR kami ni Su-hyuk. So ang hirap pala ng LDR. Patagal nang patagal, palalim nang palalim ang relasyon namin, pahirap nang pahirap 'yung LDR. Nag-decide na rin naman ako na dun na titira sa Korea. Magmo-move na ako sa Korea," she stated.
The content creator pointed out that she will still constantly visit the Philippines. "Babalik-balik ako dito. Nandito ang pamilya ko, nandito ang business ko, nandito 'yung mga kaibigan ko, madali lang naman kasi four hours lang naman ang biyahe," she highlighted.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with PUSH Bets, Kristel remarked that she was looking forward to ending her long-distance relationship with Su-hyuk after their wedding.
"Gusto ko lang matapos na 'yung LDR thing namin. Akala ko dati sobrang magiging okay lang ako sa LDR kasi parang independent ako, kaya ko sarili ko, hindi ko kailangan ng man sa buhay ko. Pero nung dumating siya, sabi ko parang ayaw ko na mahiwalay sa kanya. So parang nag-decide na rin kami magpakasal para pwede na kami magkasama, like everyday," she remarked.
