The actress claimed that while there may be adjustments to being married, it’s not as challenging as one would think as she is happy that she gets to share the rest of her life with someone who has the same goals as her.
“Pag decision making, tinutulungan niya ako. And then, even sa household chores, tinutulungan niya rin ako. And alam mo yun, ‘di ba minsan household chores nakakapagod pero ‘pag kasama mo siyang gumagawa or ginagawa mo yun for your loved one, ang sarap, ang saya niya,” she claimed.
She expressed that everything has been going smoothly so far and she’s used to living in South Korea already. The actress then shared how they’re both so lucky as well with the new apartment they moved into as they were the first ones to have it.
When asked how they divide house chores, Kristel maintained that they both help each other out whenever possible. She explained how Ha Su-hyuk is well-versed when it comes to house chores while she finds joy in doing them as well.
“Even yung kahit simpleng laundry na magawa mo yung laundry for your husband, parang, ang saya niya kasi… Naglalaba naman ako before ng damit din ng ibang family members pero iba yung feeling ngayon na parang you're doing it for your loved one or your husband or your partner. Kaya, parang mas special siya,” she shared.

If their love story would be given a title for a series, Kristel shared that it would be “My Home is Him” as she found the person she can be completely herself without any judgment. She then bared her plans to showcase her married life through her YouTube vlogs which her husband is equally excited about.
“Excited ako na ma-document yung mga ano namin sa buhay, mga challenges, mga memories namin. Kasi yung vlogs ko, tine-treat ko siya as parang… Parang diary, internet diary, ganyan. Parang e-diary ba, gano’n. Gusto ko one day, babalikan namin yun, and then, ma-refresh yung memories and emotions. Yun yung nakita ko, na nakita niya, na purpose din ng vlog ko. Kasi dati, nahiya pa sya, parang ganun. Ngayon, super gusto na din niya kasi alam namin, meron kaming something na babalikan pagtanda namin,” she expressed.
Kristel was one of the three influencers who joined PLDT Home in South Korea where the latter flew several of its subscribers for an all-expense paid trip. They flew them to Seoul for an exclusive Squid Game experience prior to the show's season three release last month.
