Gabbi Garcia shared that attending mass every Sunday is one of her non-negotiables, regardless of how busy her schedule gets.

"I go to church every Sunday. That's my mantra, kumbaga that's a rule in my life," she said in an interview with Kylie Verzosa on the Almost Honest podcast.

The actress explained that even when she attends parties or events on Saturday nights, she makes it a point to attend mass the following day.

"Na okay, weekend you want to party? You want to go to bars? You want to drink? You want to have fun? Go, go ahead. But you wake up early for Sunday mass," she said.

Gabbi added that her commitment to attending church extends even to her travels abroad, revealing that she always makes an effort to find a church wherever she goes.

"It's a non-negotiable for me. Even when I am traveling abroad, I look for a church and I go to church. Kahit na nung nag-Paris ako last time, French lahat ng pinuntahan kong misa," she shared. 

For Gabbi, going to church is more than just a weekly routine. It also gives her an opportunity to reflect, reconnect with her faith, and stay grounded amid the demands of her career.

"Pero like the fact that I'm able to go to church to reflect and to talk to God, that's my way of also grounding myself and having that reality check and having my quiet moment in how I am in this life and how I am doing in this life," she highlighted.

The actress further shared that she uses her Sundays to look back on the past week and reflect on the things she is grateful for, saying that the practice helps her stay grounded as she continues to navigate the entertainment industry.

"Like always 'yan 'pag Sundays like, okay what happened during my week? I'm grateful for this, I'm grateful for that. Parang it keeps me human in this industry," she said.
