Maja Salvador took to social media to share a heartfelt message for her mother, Thelma Andres, as she celebrated her 60th birthday.
"Happy 60th, Mama!🥂What a beautiful milestone! 60 years of love, strength, and giving so much of yourself to our family," she wrote.
The actress also expressed her gratitude to her mother for being not only a great mom but also a loving grandmother to her daughter, Maria.
"Thank you for being the best mom and the most loving Nonna to Maria. We’re so lucky to have you. We love you so much Mama!🤍✨️" she remarked.
In a March 2025 interview, Maja opened up about how becoming a mother herself deepened her admiration and appreciation for her own mom, who raised her as a single parent.
"Dati pa lang, saludung-saludo na ako kasi single mom siya, pero nung nagkaroon ako ng Maria at na-experience ‘yung maging mommy, mas lalo akong tumingala sa kanya,” she highlighted.
In the same interview, Maja reflected on how motherhood transformed her outlook on life and reshaped her priorities.
“Ang laking parte ni Maria sa kung sino ako ngayon kasi kinumpleto niya ‘yung pagkababae ko. Siya ‘yung kumumpleto sa pangarap ko. Laging si Maria. Bawat trabaho, ‘yung dressing room ko, kailangang may mas malaking space nang konti kasi bitbit ko si Maria,” she said.

Having shifted from being a self-confessed workaholic to finding a balance between her career and family life, Maja shared that her daughter has become her biggest consideration in every decision she makes.
"‘Yung priorities, decisions mo sa life, titingnan [ko] lang si Maria, parang masasagot na," she said.
Maja is currently starring in the Kapamilya series Someone, Someday.
In an interview with the Inquirer last July, the actress shared that while getting back into the rhythm of work required some adjustments, becoming a mother has brought newfound depth to her acting.
“After giving birth, eto po ‘yung first show na gagawin ko. So nung bumalik at nag-work ako, nandoon ‘yung nagugulat ako sa sarili ko na may ganung hugot na,” she stated.
