Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe is now part of ABS-CBN’s talent agency, Star Magic. During the media conference for her earlier this week, she expressed how grateful she is and how she is still in disbelief that what was once a dream is now her reality.
Lovi has done several projects with ABS-CBN in the past, such as Flower of Evil, Sleep With Me, and FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

The showbiz royalty shared how she is entering a “different chapter” in her life as she signed with Star Magic. Being away from the local showbiz industry for a bit, she is just grateful for how supportive her family has been in her comeback.
“This is such a different chapter, like a different season of my life. I can’t even explain the phase that I’m going through right now because everything is happening all at once. I’m extremely blessed–– I have the best support system around me,” she said.
Lovi recalled how she used to just look at Star Magic artists and admitted that she never thought she'd be part of the family.
“It’s funny because I grew up watching all the stars of Star Magic and I’ve been watching ABS-CBN and then I just didn’t think that this was going to be happening. I would always hear Star Magic in the past when I was younger and just to be part of this family, I just can’t believe it. For me it’s a dream come true,” she added.
She shared how her husband, Monty Blencowe, has been nothing but supportive of her career.
“He just told me to trust how I feel and trust myself. Also, to enjoy and sabi din niya na if your decision comes from a place of purpose, then magic happens and so we’re here,” she expressed.

When asked the type of projects or roles she’d want to do, the Kapamilya star is leaning towards action–– something her father, Fernando Poe Jr., has done in the past. Being the daughter of Philippine Action King and a National Artist, Lovi is hopeful she’d get to explore it soon.
“There’s so much more that I would like to do, but siguro yung pinakagusto kong gawin ngayon, as of this moment, is to do an action series or a full-on action movie. Yun talaga yung gusto kong iexplore,” she said.
“Ang daming pwedeng gawin, I mean I’ve done several genres naman but then I would like to focus on those different genres that I haven't really explored fully,” she maintained.
Lovi is currently finishing up several projects that have yet to be announced as of this writing.
