Actress LJ Reyes and her husband, Philip Evangelista, have opened their cookie business called The Village Cookie in New York.
The business marked its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a clip of which was shared on the shop's official Instagram page. LJ, Philip, and their family were present to celebrate the milestone.
"Oh it still feels surreal!!! We are officially OPEN!!! We are here to stay (yes???) and serve you heartwarming cookies with the biggest smiles! Thank you again so much for all the love and support!" the shop wrote in the caption.
Fans online were quick to extend their congratulatory messages
"Very BIG congratulations on this journey!" one fan commented.
"Just passed by this today and the cookies look incredible!" another fan wrote.
LJ and Philip tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Long Island, New York, on October 8, 2023 (Manila time).
At the time, LJ gave fans a glimpse of their wedding through a series of Instagram photos, captioning the post, "Savoring this moment."
The actress had surprised her followers months earlier when she announced her engagement in May 2023. She shared photos of Philip's romantic proposal on Instagram, accompanied by a Bible verse.
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.' Jeremiah 29:11 NLT," LJ wrote at the time of their engagement.

Back in October 2024, LJ took to social media to share a heartfelt message as she celebrated her first wedding anniversary with Philip.
"If the past year is the glimpse of what forever looks like with you, it will be a blast!!! I definitely am so blessed that God had it planned for you to be the one I spend the rest of my life with!" she wrote.
"Thank you for everything! Thank you for the best life I can ever imagine! You are an amazing husband, father, son and friend! I will never get tired of celebrating our love every single day! I love you! Happy Anniversary!" she added.
