Actress Bea Alonzo is embracing a new chapter in her life after marrying businessman Vincent Co in a civil wedding last month.
In an interview with GMA News, Bea opened up about the changes she has experienced since her “surprise wedding” and shared how she continues to feel the bliss of being newly married.
“I did realize na ang bilis. How time flies,” Bea said. “Yung tirahan ko iba na. Iba na yung address ko syempre kasi nagmove in na kami together.”
For the actress, waking up beside her husband every day has made their new chapter even more special.
“Right now, I am on cloud nine. I am very, very happy. Na-share ko ata (before) na I’m at my happiest and syempre we wake up right next to each other every day and it is special to me,” she added.
Bea has kept details of her wedding to Vincent mostly private, saying that she wanted their special day to remain intimate and personal.
“Honestly, I didn't think that it is something I really need to share. Hindi naman sa ipinagdadamot but at that point parang I felt like I just wanted it to be mine and his. I wanted it to be about us and no one else,” Bea expressed.

The actress also clarified that keeping the wedding under wraps was never about making it a surprise.
“It wasn’t supposed to be a surprise or wala namang pasabi. It wasn't supposed to be like that. It just felt like it was the right thing to do. The moment was just ours,” Bea stated.
For her, she still feels the joy of getting married while looking forward to what comes after: “Right now, I still have other opportunities. Mayroon kaming niluluto. Sana matuloy. Right now, I’m really happy where I am.”
Bea and Vincent tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Makati on July 13, marking another milestone in the actress’ personal journey. Their wedding also squashed the previous rumors about their alleged split and the postponement of their supposed wedding in Spain.
During a brand event, Bea shared her excitement for what lies ahead, both in her personal life and her career.
“My headline would be ‘Just getting started,’” Bea said. “You ‘ve seen me in many different chapters of my life. You have seen it all but somehow, it’s only getting started.”
“I’m so excited for what will come both personally and professionally. And I know that there is so much to life,” she continued.
As she and Vincent begin building their own family, Bea also shared her hopes for the future, particularly when it comes to her journey to motherhood.
“I love to have the energy to run around with my kids and to play with them and not just watch from the sidelines. Kung before I will resort to quick fixes or latest beauty trends or latest fitness trends. Right now, I invest more in my future self,” she said.
“Ultimately my priority now is to have the energy to enjoy every chapter in my life.”
