Bela Padilla and her boyfriend, tech CEO Martin Tan, opened up about how they met and shared some of the things they appreciate most about each other.
In an interview with Johnny K | Meet Cutes Manila on TikTok, the couple revealed that they met through a mutual friend.
Asked about her first impression of Martin, Bela shared that they immediately connected over their love for movies.
"Well, he said he liked movies and I love movies also so I was very, very excited when he started talking about films," the actress recounted.
Martin also revealed that he and Bela have been together for eight months.
When asked what he admires most about Bela, Martin replied: "Her brain, and she's funny, and beautiful."
As to her most favorite thing about Martin, Bela relayed: "He's game to try anything, like going to markets even if it is early," she said.
"He is pogi. I don't wanna say it 'cause... people are gonna start DM-ing you," she quipped.
On the little gesture that Martin does for her that she appreciates a lot, Bela said: "When he knows I am going through something he will plan a trip. So I think beach trips. That's my fave."
Martin, on the other hand, said he appreciates the "little notes in my work bag" that Bela makes.

Back in February, Bela shared in an interview that she was ready to enter a new relationship.
“I think so, matagal na rin. More than a year na akong single. Kung meron, meron,” she said at the time.
Bela drew attention online at that time after sharing a photo of a bouquet of flowers on Instagram, accompanied by a note saying that loving her “feels easy."
