Actress Liza Diño looked back on her 13-year relationship with partner Ice Seguerra as she celebrated another birthday with the singer-songwriter.
In a heartfelt social media post, Liza reflected on their journey together, sharing how the number 13 has taken on a special meaning.
“They say 13 is an unlucky number. But for us, it has always felt like magic. It was 2013 when we found each other again. Thirteen years had passed since we first met. And today, I’ve celebrated 13 birthdays with you,” she said.
For Liza, their relationship gave the number a completely different meaning. “So maybe that’s what love does. It takes something people have decided is unlucky and gives it a completely different meaning. Because since you came back into my life, 13 has only ever meant love to me.
Liza also credited Ice for helping her become more comfortable with who she is.
“You made me more myself. More honest. More comfortable in my own skin. You became my safe space, and because of that, I learned to be fully me—not just with you, but with the rest of the world too,” she said.
She also expressed her gratitude for the love Ice has given her and their daughter, Amara, as well as the life they continue to share.“Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving Amara. Thank you for loving all of me, just as I love all of you.”
She went on: “Even after all these years, life with you has never felt ordinary. I still look forward to waking up beside you, to what we’ll discover, what we’ll laugh about, and even what problem we’ll have to solve next.”
“I’m less afraid of life because I get to face it with you. I admire you. I am inspired by you. And I still feel incredibly lucky that the person I love is also someone I genuinely look up to. Mahal na mahal kita.”
Liza also ended her birthday message on a lighter note, joking that she would cook for Ice on his special day: “Happy birthday, my love. ❤️ And yes, because it’s your birthday, I promise to cook for you and not make you work. Okay… baka mas realistic if I just promise to cook. Hehe!😂.”
Liza and Ice first met years before they reunited in 2013. The couple eventually got married in the United States in 2014 before exchanging vows again in a symbolic ceremony in the Philippines in January 2015.
Earlier this year, the couple marked 13 years since their reunion, with Ice also looking back on how their relationship has grown through the years.
“13 years mula nung nagkita tayo ulit pagkatapos ng 13 years nang walang communication. 13 years na parang ang bilis lumipas. 13 years na kahit maraming pagsubok, mas lumalim pa ang pagmamahal na meron tayo sa isa’t isa,” Ice wrote.

“Ang sarap ng buhay dahil kasama ka na. Ang sarap isipin na mas naging mabuti akong tao dahil sa iyo. Nakakakilig isipin na kasama kitang tatanda. Mula sa bikini panty, ngayon high cut na. Mula sa night out ngayon naman ay mas kumportable na tayo sa tahimik,” he added.
