Alex Eala’s influence continues to make an impact both on and off the tennis court.
Influencer marketing platform Lefty reported that the Filipino tennis star generated $502,000 in Earned Media Value (EMV) for Calvin Klein following her appearance at the brand’s show during New York Fashion Week.
"What a day to feel so quintessentially Calvin. What a beautiful show! Thank you for having me @calvinklein @veronicaleoni 🤍," Alex wrote on Instagram on September 13 (PH time) after attending the brand's show.
For the event, Alex wore pieces from the Calvin Klein Collection by Veronica Leoni.
She stepped out in an all-white ensemble featuring a crisp shirt, pleated trousers, pointed shoes, and matching gloves. A slim black belt added contrast, while a silver flask-inspired clutch completed the look.
“It feels like air but also very cozy,” Alex said of the outfit in a video shared by Calvin Klein.
In a recent interview with Elle, Alex also reflected on the connection between tennis and fashion, saying both allow her to express different sides of her personality.
"I love that when in tennis we are able to express ourselves through fashion. I know that in a lot of sports maybe it's a little more restrictive," she said.
She added: "You are able to show your personality in both worlds and I am excited to explore more."
Before making her New York Fashion Week debut, Alex also made an appearance on the US morning program CBS Mornings.

During the interview, the Filipina tennis star opened up about adjusting to her rising profile and handling the increased attention that has followed her recent achievements.
"I think step-by-step. I try to not to look so much at the bigger picture all time because I can get lost and it can get overwhelming with a lot of emotions especially with the support that I get," she said.
When asked about the pressure that comes with representing the Philippines on the international stage, Alex shared that she has learned to embrace high-pressure situations as part of being a competitive athlete.
"It definitely comes with pressure. But the life of a competitive athlete comes with pressure and pressure is a privilege and I have never been able to relate something more and now when I face high pressure situations, I’m able to take it in my stride and especially with the experience I've been gaining this year, I look forward to being in those situations. So, this US Open has just been so great," she stated.
