Kapuso actress Joyce Ching and husband Kevin Alimon are over the moon after finally finding out the gender of their second child.
The couple recently shared a simple and intimate DIY gender reveal at home, where they were joined by their daughter, Olivia Ysabel.
“Today is the day! 🩷🩵 DIY decor by mommy and daddy 🤣 Can’t wait to see you, our second baby! 🫶🏼,” the actress wrote in the caption.
In another post, Joyce shared a video of their family of three gathered in their living room as they revealed their guesses for their newest family member.
“What do you want? Girl or Boy?” Joyce asked Olivia to which her daughter said, “Girl.”
Joyce then shared that it took them quite some time before they could finally find out the gender of their second baby, making the reveal even more exciting for the parents
“Today is the day. Sisilipini na namin at malalaman na namin. Ang tagal na nito guys. Finally! 30 weeks na ako today. Manganganak na (ako) at hindi pa namin alam kung ano ang gender (ni baby). Exciting! Exciting! Malalaman na kung ano ang gender,” Joyce said.
Kevin added, “Manganganak na! Ngayon pa lang! Boy or girl?”
Both Joyce and Kevin stuck with their initial guesses, hoping that their second child would be a boy.
“Papanindigan ko yung una kong gut feel. Boy,” Joyce expressed.
Kevin said, “Ako, boy din. Sana boy. “
Kevin then opened the box containing their baby’s sonogram, revealing blue decorations that confirmed their wish had come true.
“Ang saya! Nakakaiyak naman,” Joyce said.
“Hindi ko inexpect!” Kevin exclaimed.
Joyce then shared why she had always had a feeling that they were having a boy, saying: “It’s a boy! Thank you Jesus. Habang tumatagal medyo nagkakadoubts na ako eh. Parang sa isip ko na baka girl. Pero kasi noong unang una palang na pregnancy, boy na talaga ang hula ko, ang tinitibok ng puso ko.”
Olivia also expressed her happiness after seeing the reveal: “It says boy. (I’m) happy!”
Joyce and Kevin first announced that they were expecting their second child last May, sharing a family photo where they were all smiles as Olivia held the sonogram of her future sibling.
“Magiging ate na si Oli!” Joyce wrote.

Kevin also celebrated the pregnancy in a Mother’s Day post dedicated to his wife: “Thank you for being selfless, always. Excited na ako sa isa pang anak natin kasi alam ko HE or she will experience the best mom. Happy mother’s day! ❤️.”
The couple has been together for several years already and previously tied the knot back in 2019 through a Christian ceremony, nine months after they announced their engagement to the public. They then welcomed their first child back in 2024 and documented their pregnancy journey for their followers to see.
