K-Pop star Jackson Wang was stunned by the energy of the Filipino fans at his recent concert in Manila.
The singer staged the Philippine leg of his Magicman 2 World Tour at the Big Dome on Sunday, November 2.
On his X (formerly Twitter) page, Jackson posted: "I'M SPEECHLESS. MANILA IS INSANE. The energy. I learned a lot today on what MANILA Vibe is #MANILA #MAGICMAN2WorldTour."
Fans online were quick to react to his post.
"We had FUN! Thank you for including Manila in your tour stop! See you again next time," one fan commented.
"We truly enjoyed the night, what an amazing experience! Mahal kita 💖 The performance was incredible, the team was so creative, and most of all, you're such a down-to-earth person. Thank you for spreading magic in our lives. I'm proud of you ☪️💜," another fan said.
In a recent interview with Metro.Style, Jackson relayed what he aims to achieve whenever he stages a show.
"When I put out my album, it’s like listening to a movie, but my show is like watching it in front of your eyes. They take away a lot of the messages. And the main message is, whatever happens in your life, the good and the bad, it's meant to happen. And what's been done can't be undone… You just learn from it and move forward. Accept it and move on."
Jackson released his latest solo album Magicman 2 in July this year.
In a previous interview with GRAMMY.com, the K-Pop star opened up the creation of the album. "The entire album is about how I feel about the industry, society, humanity, family, reality. How do I recover from the highs and lows of my life? How do I find my balance and center as a person?" he relayed.
Jackson relayed that he has a song in the album inspired by his parents.
"The song is called 'Sophie Ricky.' When we're born, a lot of the time we forget that our parents did not know what to do either when they first had us. They didn't know how to become a mom or a dad. We always think that our parents will figure it out. We always think they will be here forever," he said.
The singer went on: "I realized, us and our parents, it feels like we're on the same street, but they're just further up. I just wanted to give flowers to them, and also be able to appreciate how much of a sacrifice they gave me and my brother because they were young too."
