“Supergirl,” the first expansion of DC Studios’ Superman universe, dropped its first teaser trailer Thursday night, with Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El a.k.a. Supergirl taking centerstage.

Based on the graphic novel by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, the new super adventure sees Kara Zor-El chasing the red sun for her 23rd birthday binge when a deceptive new enemy strikes a little too close to home.

Now a Kryptonian, a dog and an alien girl must band together for a revenge mission through the cosmos, one that will see them go face-to-face with the scum of the planets plus one bad bastich from the planet Czarnia.

Directed by Craig Gillespie, the movie also stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.

“Supergirl” lands in Philippine cinemas on June 24, 2026.
