MANILA -- The red carpet screening for the film "Sunshine," starring Maris Racal originally scheduled for Tuesday night at SM Aura has been postponed due to bad weather.
The announcement was shared by Racal via her social media post on Tuesday morning.
"Stay safe tayo guys ha! Ingat tayo muna sa ngayon. Let's pray for everyone’s safety at sana lumabas na si mr. sunshine bukas!! July 23 pa rin ang day 1 ng 'Sunshine'!" Racal captioned her post.
Despite this, "Sunshine" will still hit Philippine cinemas nationwide on Wednesday, July 23.
Dircted by Antoinette Jadaone, "Sunshine" follows the story of a young gymnast who discovers she is pregnant on the week of the national team tryouts.
According to weather bureau PAGASA, heavy rainfall triggered by habagat or southwest monsoon, is expected to affect Metro Manila and several other provinces in Luzon until Wednesday.
