KATSEYE has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming documentary film, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, ahead of its worldwide release in August.
"Witness the rise of a phenomenon," the trailer declares, describing the film as "a love letter to the EYEKONS," the group’s global fandom.
Set to premiere on August 12, the documentary offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at KATSEYE’s journey, from the group’s debut to the career-defining milestones they have achieved and their new era of music.
"How did we get to this point so quickly," member Sophia said in the trailer.
"It takes a lot. Sweat, tears," lead choreographer Sohey Sugihara said.
Fans quickly shared their excitement online following the trailer’s release.
"So proud of y’all," one fan commented.
"I can't wait. I'm so excited," another fan wrote.
According to the official synopsis published on SM Cinema's website, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS is "a captivating journey into the group's bold new era while celebrating the fans who helped make it possible."
"Featuring never-before-seen footage, EYEKONS fan videos, and intimate interviews from the group members, the film explores the powerful bond between KATSEYE and their global fandom. A love letter to the EYEKONS who helped build this movement, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS reveals why this group's story is only just beginning," the synopsis added.
KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS is produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures, in collaboration with HYBE x Geffen, and directed by Nadia Hallgren.

The film arrives ahead of the release of KATSEYE’s upcoming extended play, WILD.
In a recent interview with Allure, the members opened up about what fans can expect from their new record.
"With every release that we put out, the more authentic and raw it gets to us," member Megan said.
The group also reflected on K-pop's influence on their identity and music.
"I'd say our music is not K-pop, but it is heavily inspired by it," Daniela highlighted.
