Kris Aquino, hailed as the country's "Queen of All Media," said she would make her long-awaited acting comeback with a micro-drama.

“It depends on the budget. The higher they will pay, the more they will see,” she teased during a recent endorsement shoot for an e-commerce platform.

“We have already agreed the first time you will see me whether documentary or me acting will be a drama [for the brand],”  she added.

During the interview, Aquino said the project's genre had yet to be discussed.

“If it will be horror, my genre, mahal iyon. Pero if it will be a comedy or a reality show, mahal din yon,” she answered playfully.

She also shared her ideal leading man for her comeback would be Ian Veneracion.

“I work very well with him and he is a true professional… Mabait na mabait,” she said.

Aquino said she hoped to be more active in 2027, adding that taking on projects had a positive effect on her health.

"I noticed that when I am active, I am happy. And when I am happy, I noticed health-wise my blood pressure is nicer. Even my skin I noticed is better. It really has a lot to do with your attitude," she said.

Aquino, however, revealed she is only able to work at a limited capacity because she still needs to prioritize her health.

“The only reason I was able to work with all of you now is na-delay infusion of my immuno-suppressant. The third one should have been around this time. But my WBC and basta medical terms — it was too low. It would be bad for me if we try. If that were the case I won't have a life I would be stuck in a bubble in my room,” she said.

“There are days I can’t get out of bed because of my bones. It is like your bones are feeling... that thing you are using to crush garlic? That is how it feels. Hina-hammer 'yung buto. Not just the first layer… the inside of your bones."

Aquino said she is grateful for everyone who  prayed for her and hopes they continue to support her.

“I have to say thank you to the people. Think I am the only person who can say millions prayed for me to get better. My journey has been their journey as well. I need your prayers because this is for life. There are bad days and good days.”

Aquino had largely stayed away from television and film in recent years as she battled autoimmune diseases and other health conditions.

She recently resurfaced in a promotional campaign for Netflix Philippines, playing herself as the streaming service's fictional new content head and editor.
