According to a press release, Being Ice Live! The Concert Experience has strongly resonated with audiences, who described the show as “healing,” “unexpectedly emotional,” and “one of Ice’s most honest performances to date” on its first run. The concert was also described as “an intimate, cinematic journey through Ice’s life.”
Now returning to the New Frontier Theater, it “marks a significant chapter in the concert’s life: a true homecoming to a venue closely tied to Ice’s childhood, career milestones, and the Filipino entertainment landscape.”
“Some stories never really leave — they find their way back home,” Ice said. “Bringing this show to New Frontier feels like completing a circle.”

The new show, Being Ice Live! is further described as “a memoir in music—a storytelling experience where Ice opens the pages of his life with sincerity, humor, vulnerability, and the emotional clarity that has defined his artistry for over three decades.” The show weaves together live performances, personal narratives, and cinematic staging to immerse audiences in the world behind the songs that shaped Ice’s journey as an OPM icon, LGBTQIA+ advocate, husband, son, and storyteller.
