MANILA — Minutes after the band rehearsal, OPM singer Ice Seguerra was giddy and having sweaty palms.
He just finished a duet with one of his ultimate OPM idols — Lani Misalucha. The two rehearsed the latter’s hit ‘Bukas na lang kita mamahalin’, as one of the songs lined up for Ice’s two-night concert entitled ‘Being Ice’.

“First time, mas kabado pa ko na nagrehearse kami together ni Lani M kesa sa normal kaba ko pag may concert ako. Oh my god," he said.
“Sobrang happy lang ako, na the rehearsals are going well. It’s a matter of polishing na lang some bits and pieces. Since andito na rin si Ate Lani, masyado lang akong kinilig," he added.
Ice said the "Asia's Nightingale" has a unique factor that always mesmerizes him.
He also shared that his two-night concert are two very different nights.
“The first one is like a party. ‘Cause it’s my birthday celebration, so I’m really expecting everyone to sing along with me.”
“For the second night, I wanna share who I am to the people. Not just the songs that I’ll be singing, but these songs as well. I hope they get to know me on a personal level," he explained.
The first night, Ice will be joined by Lani Misalucha, Gary Valenciano, the boys of the ASAP’s Sessionistas and Moira. For the second night, Ice invited the girls of ASAP’s Sessionistas, The Company and his ‘tatay-tatayan’s in showbiz’ Tito and Vic Sotto.
‘Being Ice’ will be at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.
