The trailer to Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto's "Always Yours, Never Mine" has arrived and with it comes a ton of throwback feels! The on-screen pair unveiled the latest peek into their upcoming film during their Grand Media Day, held at Uptown Mall Cinema on Friday, September 18.
From a snapshot of their characters' journeys in the official poster, JoshLia now creates a time capsule with the "Always Yours, Never Mine" trailer. And what better way to kick things off than with that captivating opener?
You've got laser beams, pulsating beats, and a sign that reads "End Of The World Party." (If you grew up around the Y2K era, we bet this scene looks familiar to you!) But despite the electric energy that fills the room, Joshua's eyes stay locked on Julia, making a thrilling introduction to their characters, Apollo and Luna.
The two don black leather outfits and matching sunglasses. With Apollo's slicked back 'do and Luna's chic pixie cut, could you guess which iconic movie characters they're dressed as?
Fast forward to when their paths cross once more, but this time, Apollo rocks copper hair while Luna simply glows with longer locks. The clothes? More laid-back and youthful. The accessories? Totally nostalgic. The chemistry? Undeniable!
This sentimental trip back to the 2000s gets even better when you notice the old phones and bulky computers, too!
Another major change comes when Apollo and Luna meet anew sometime after. While Apollo's dyed fringe and boyish charm remains, Luna sports an entirely new look, featuring a wispy bob and a more mature sense of fashion, making the young man's heart skip a beat!
Beyond a glimpse into Apollo and Luna's history, the trailer also packs a punch with Ice Seguerra's soulful rendition of Nonoy Zuñiga's "Kumusta Ka?", stitched together with a scene reminiscent of Joshua and Julia's screen test for the movie.

For international audiences, catch "Always Yours, Never Mine" in Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain) starting October 22, and in the U.S., Canada, and Guam beginning October 23.
Special screenings across Europe will also be held in the United Kingdom and Austria on October 31, as well as Spain, France, and Italy on November 1.
