In the November 25 episode of “Roja,” the resort is filled with a VIP roster of guests, each with different stories. Tension rises between Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing) over his New York culinary school scholarship in, heightened further by Olsen’s (Kyle Echarri) growing relationship with Liam’s father.
As envy and betrayal intensify, an even greater danger looms as Uno prepares to infiltrate La Playa Roja.
Wendy reunites with Olsen
Chief Ben (Levi Ignacio) congratulates Olsen on his new job, yet reminds him of something important, “Kung dito ka magtatrabaho, kailangan magkausap na kayo ni Liam.” He urges Olsen to make amends with Liam and keep himself away from the family’s conflicts.
Olsen, however, insists his conscience is clear and that he has done nothing wrong. Ben shakes his head in disbelief. Olsen reassures him, “Basta, ‘Lo, gagawin ko lahat.” He promises to work hard and give his family a better life.
They are later on interrupted by a familiar voice, Wendy (Janice de Belen), Olsen’s mother. Overcome with emotion, Olsen rushes to hug her, their reunion filled with joy. Despite Wendy carrying a dark past as an ex‑convict.
As mother and son catch up, Greta (Lorna Tolentino), Wendy’s high school best friend, spots her and greets her warmly. “Greta, maraming maraming salamat sa lahat.” Greta, in turn, thanks Wendy and offers her to work again at La Playa Roja.
Liam accuses Olsen of envy
Meanwhile, Liam proudly shows his father Magnus the letter confirming his scholarship grant to a culinary school in New York. Magnus mocks him instead, questioning his plans. Liam confidently explains that his funds are enough and that he has already secured a job at a restaurant near his school. “Bukas nang umaga, alis na ‘ko,” he declares.
Magnus, however, responds with sarcasm, saying he can leave immediately. Their strained relationship has been going on for six years with silence and unresolved conflict. Magnus insists Liam has been avoiding him since high school, while Liam reminds him of his successes despite the rift. Still, Magnus stands firm, “Kahit ‘wag ka nang bumalik.” Liam leaves, whispering, “Goodbye, Pa,” He bumps into Olsen and they exchange an intense look.
Inside Magnus’ office. Olsen refused to be transferred to the marketing team and insists he wants to learn and contribute under Magnus’ supervision. The older warns him of his high standards, but Olsen confidently replies, “Kaya ko pong tapatan ‘yung standards n’yo.” Magnus is impressed by his determination and promises to train him himself. Liam overhears the entire conversation.
As Olsen leaves, Liam confronts him by the stairs. He accuses Olsen of clinging to Magnus out of envy. Liam claims he allowed Olsen to join their family often, but now sees it differently, “Na lahat ng meron ako, gusto mong makuha.”
A flashback shows their childhood closeness, but Liam’s accusations get worse. Olsen defends himself and says that his friendship was genuine and he was just grateful for the kindness of Liam’s family. “Napakakitid ng utak,” he sighs. Liam walks away, leaving Olsen, “Natupad mo ‘yung pangarap mo, nakuha mo na ang buhay ko.”
Liam and Luna reflect on their friendship
Luna (Maymay Entrata) feels guilty for convincing Liam to talk to his father. “Sorry, pare, napasama pa yata ‘yung advice ko sa’yo,” she admits. Liam reassures her that it’s fine, and at least he tried. Liam even apologizes for forcing her to work at La Playa Roja after graduation, knowing it was Greta who sent her to school and expected her to become a sous chef at the resort.
As they continue their conversation, the two train together in arnis. She shares how much she missed the place, where she grew up and learned to cook. Liam reflects with sadness, “Siguro kung buhay pa ‘yung magulang mo, pinagtatanggol ako dun kay Papa.” Luna replies that if her parents were alive, she would probably be with Liam in New York. Their bond is bittersweet as they prepare to part ways. “’Wag mo kong kakalimutan, ha? Tatawag‑tawagan mo naman ako ‘di ba?” Luna asks. The two bid each other goodbye.
Wendy vows to leave her past behind
Wendy asks her son Olsen how long his feud with Liam has been going on. Unlike Chief Ben, she is unaware of the depth of their conflict and hopes they will reconcile soon. Wendy insists she will talk to Liam herself, “Malaki ‘yung utang na loob natin sa pamilya niya.” She reminds Olsen that it was the Roja family who supported her with a lawyer, leading to her release, and who helped Olsen finish school.
Olsen, however, insists that he should be the one to fix his own problems. Wendy, eager to make things right for her son now that they are reunited, walks away. Chief Ben says that their differences may come from being apart for so long, and encourages Olsen to understand his mother.
Later, Wendy reunites with Magnus, who is delighted to see her again. They catch up and Wendy shares that Greta offered her a job as assistant manager in housekeeping at La Playa Roja. Magnus jokes that she should not forget him, reminding her that they were friends first before she grew closer to Greta.
With sincerity, Wendy tells Magnus, “Salamat sa lahat, Magnus. Gusto ko nang itama ‘yung buhay ko, lahat ng naging pagkakamali ko gusto ko nang iwan sa nakaraan.” Magnus reassures her that what matters most is her freedom now, “Don’t worry, tutulungan ka naming bumangon.”
A deadly encounter inside Anthony's room
Bishop Anthony (Marc Abaya) discreetly carries his bag into his room at La Playa Roja, hiding the weapons inside. Grace (Vangie Castillo), the staff assigned to assist him, insists on helping with his luggage, as she wants to give him the best experience at the resort as it is his first time to be their guest. Anthony refuses, starting to get frustrated by her. At one point, he nearly loses control, pulling out a gun before quickly regaining his composure. “Kailangan ko nang magpahinga,” he mutters, rushing into his room and slamming the door.
Inside, Anthony tries to settle his bag when Grace knocks again. She reveals she had called the church he claimed to be affiliated with, only to be told that Bishop Anthony was supposedly there, not at La Playa Roja. Grace enters his room, and her cheerful smile fades when she notices a weapon on the table. Nervous and shaken, she pleads with him, but Anthony’s anger intensifies.
Grace is later on scared for her life. Moments later, Anthony shoots Grace from behind. Anthony hurries to hide her body and clean up her blood stains.
Just then, a knock at the door sets him into panic. Anthony quickly lies to Happy (Rubi Rubi) as she was looking for Grace, saying she has already left. He invites Happy inside to wait, but the tension rises as she comes close to Grace's body. A phone call from Greta distracts her, sparing her from Anthony’s wrath---for now. Happy leaves the room, unaware of the danger she fortunately escaped.
The villains draw closer to La Playa Roja
At a hidden camp, Uno (Joel Torre) reunites with his daughter Ayen (Yassi Pressman). Once an ex‑convict, Uno is finally free, and Ayen cannot hide her joy. “’Di mo alam kung gaano ko kasaya na nakalaya ka na,” she tells him. Uno, however, has plans for revenge, “Ang tagal ko ’tong hinintay.”
Ayen vows vengeance for the injustices done to them. “Kailangan nilang magbayad sa lahat ng ginawa nila sa akin,” she threatens. Uno assures her that everything had been planned for six long years while he was in prison. “Makakaganti na tayo, anak. Magbabayad sila nang mahal.”
Meanwhile, Bishop Anthony’s true identity is revealed. He is not a bishop at all, but Lucas, codenamed Dos, Uno’s ally. Lucas begins to set La Playa Roja into chaos, carefully laying the groundwork for their crimes.
As Lucas works on his plans, two security guards confront him. A fight between Lucas and the guards erupted, and they were unable to capture Lucas. Later, Uno calls to check in, and Lucas updates him that their plan is working. Uno, in turn, confirms that they are close to the resort premises, ready to make the lives of people of La Playa Roja miserable.
With Uno’s sinister plans coming to life, the paradise resort braces for chaos, and the lives of its guests will never be the same.
