“Kinakabahan ako, and I’m very excited. Ang dami kong emotions right now.”
These were the words that “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” alumna Bianca de Vera exclaimed when interviewed for this episode of “Atin A10 Lang” prior to entering Bahay ni Kuya 10 days after this season commenced last March.
But apart from sharing how she was feeling at that very moment while she was in “hotel arrest,” she also went on to share more fun and interesting facts about herself that her fans may not know or should know about her.
“Ang Sassy Unica Hija ng Taguig” began by sharing that she has two dogs, which are a Bichon Frise and a Corgi. Sadly, the latter passed away last May, which absolutely devastated her because, aside from the fact that she had treated Peach like a sister since she was an only child, she also felt bad about not being present at her side in the last few weeks of her life.
As she stayed inside the house for around 100 days, we had surely discovered a lot of things about her, such as her love for skincare and makeup, since she tended to appear fresh and all-glammed almost ‘round the clock. Besides, as a self-confessed coffee lover who cannot live a day without it, she seems to be among the housemates who were delighted to have their daily caffeine fix, thanks to Kuya’s ready-to-drink cold coffee stash inside his house.
While we’ve probably known her as a budding actress prior to becoming a housemate, it was only during her “PBB Collab” stint when many found out that she actually joined “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition,” a competitive cooking game show broadcast by ABS-CBN in 2011. The De La Salle University (DLSU) alumna was only 9 at the time.
Just in case you’re wondering what food she likes to cook a lot, it can be presumed that it’s none other than sinigang na baboy, which she tags as her favorite food and ultimate comfort food regardless if she’s sad, happy, angry, or excited.
A certified kitchen whiz that she is, Bianca seemed meticulous as well when it comes to how she likes her egg to be done. She related that her most preferred way of cooking eggs is the so-called “over-easy,” one of the many ways to fry eggs characterized by runny or half-cooked yolks, well-fried egg whites, and semi-burnt edges.
Furthermore, she shared that her favorite colors are pink, red, and blue. So, to those who have been planning to give her gifts, know that these hues bring her delight.
And lastly, she expressed how passionate she is with her craft as an actress by uttering, “I love what I do” in the latter part of the interview.
While she and her last duo partner Kapuso actor, Dustin Yu, were hopeful to at least become part of the Big Four, they had fallen short in their bid after losing in the third and final Big Jump Challenge to the tandem of Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca, who were eventually hailed the first-ever Big Winner Duo. Nonetheless, we’re certain that there are going to be a lot of great things awaiting Bianca here in the outside world!
