Shortly after the arson incident that occurred at Billy’s (Kathryn Bernardo) house due to the vengeful Mariela (Rita Avila), Bea (Maja Salvador) sneaks into the hospital to check on the recuperating Enrico (Rowell Santiago). Upon entering the facility, she quickly disguises herself as a medical staff member watching over him through a window.
As she quietly observes the sleeping Enrico, Bea is reminded of their past as a complete and blissful family. In a particular memory, Enrico returned home in a new car and made arrangements with Mariela and Bea to surprise Abi (Karylle) in Manila.
Besides that, Bea also recalls the recent words of her distraught mother, specifically when she condemned Enrico for choosing to save his illegitimate family when he couldn’t even protect his first one.
In Bea’s mind, she believes that her mother was wrong about hurting Billy’s family, yet at the same time, everything was Enrico’s fault. From the moment he abandoned Mariela and Bea, their lives just fell apart.
Despite the bitter truth, Bea gets frustrated at herself for remaining concerned about Enrico’s condition.
