We really thought “Pinoy Big Bother Celebrity Collab Edition” already showed us Brent Manalo, Ralph De Leon, Emilio Daez, and River Joseph with zero filter. But their recent "Gandang Gabi Vice" episode unlocked an even more 'makulit' and slightly wild side of them, and now we can't get enough of these boys.
Before and after their guesting, ABS-CBN Studios caught up with the “PBB Collab” hotties for an exclusive interview about their expectations, their post-“GGV” feels, and everything that happened in between.
Before taking on the "GGV" hot seat, Ralph was a little nervous since it was his first time doing this kind of interview, where the conversation could pretty much go anywhere. River, meanwhile, was excited as he literally grew up watching “GGV," which he described as one of Vice Ganda’s most iconic shows. “Bata pa lang ako pinapanood ko na ’to. Kahit late na sa gabi, kahit may school pa the next day I stay up talaga para maabutan ko ’yung GGV,” he shared.
Brent could totally relate. Just like River, he also sacrificed sleep for “GGV," sometimes he'd be late for school the next morning. Emilio's excitement level was likewise an easy 10 out of 10, though Meme Vice's unpredictable questions made him nervous.
Well, nervous or not, the boys knew they were walking into a good time. Ralph figured Meme Vice would help viewers see them in a completely different light, while River and Emilio were expecting the night to be all fun and 'bardagulan.'
ABS-CBN Studios also asked them their favorite “GGV” episodes. Ralph picked Sarah Geronimo’s guesting, while River went for the episode with Daniel Padilla and Marco Gumabao because he loved how Vice got the boys spilling tea they probably never planned on saying out loud. Which is funny in hindsight because fast-forward to River taking on the same hot seat, Vice got him and his fellow “PBB Collab” hotties talking very honestly, too.
And then filed under Emilio’s own list of favorite “GGV” episodes was that of Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco. Brent went for another 'couple' episode, picking Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff’s appearance as his top choice.
The gentlemen sure had a blast that when asked to sum up their "GGV" experience in one word, River could only go, “Grabe!” while the others threw in “bleep,” “explosive,” and “spicy”—accurate descriptions of the hot and wildly honest confessions they served in the episode.
Ralph especially loved all their 'kulitan' moments with Vice, “This is the first time na gano’n ako kaligalig sa harap ng camera.” River, meanwhile, had the most fun during the “Mr. Q and A” challenge. For Brent, the episode felt extra special because it also doubled as a bonding moment with his fellow “PBB Collab” ex-housemates, plus Vince Maristela, who’s part of the “GGV” Geng Gang.
