Early in the morning, Oliver (Migz Casimiro) finally comes home from his school camp, proudly announcing his best team and the surprising apology that he received from Biboy’s father.
When Oliver brings up his excitement for college, Precious (Dimples Romana) reminds him that he still needs to finish senior high school. Oliver then reiterates that the first thing he will do once he arrives in the US is to visit his father’s grave.
Taking this as a sign—reinforced by Precious’ encouraging nod—Billy decides to tell Oliver the truth. Before doing so, she reminds him of her deep love, how she would do anything to protect him, and their old promise to never tell lies to each other.
Unfortunately, Billy broke that promise, leaving Oliver confused. Despite her fear, Billy keeps her composure and explains that their father is still alive, admitting she kept it a secret to protect him from the pain of being abandoned.
In the past, their father went to Canada, where he scammed many people and ended up in jail. Now back in the Philippines, Billy ultimately reveals that Eric (Rowell Santiago), the man who has been looking after Oliver at school, is actually their real father.
As Oliver begins to cry, Billy continues, divulging that Eric isn’t even their father’s real name and that he has tricked them all. With a firm stance, Billy guarantees that Enrico—their father’s true identity—will never be allowed near them again.
The truth proves difficult for Oliver to accept, as he still hopes to speak with Enrico. Despite Billy’s cautions, Oliver argues that if she were really trying to protect him, she shouldn’t have lied in the first place.
Moreover, a frustrated Oliver points out that Billy’s resentment robbed him of a father too. Finding it all too much to process, Oliver storms up to his room while Precious stays behind to comfort Billy.
