TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan have mastered the art of making us sentimental through their music, but it turns out, making us laugh comes just as naturally to them.
They have actually been here before. Back in 2017, during their boyfriend-and-girlfriend era, they guested on “Gandang Gabi Vice” and talked about hoping they would be each other’s endgame. Nine years later, they manifested that beautiful wish and reunited with Vice Ganda as husband and wife, with six years of marriage behind them.
They gave us a little peek into their dynamic as sweethearts, like, what their usual term of endearment is. They also looked back on why they ended up having two weddings. Their first was a pandemic ceremony, which they kept simple because of health protocols, and because they didn’t want to start living under one roof without marriage. And with so much uncertainty in the world at the time, they just wanted to seal their commitment to each other.
Unfortunately, neither of their families could attend due to unavailability of domestic flights. So, on their third wedding anniversary, KZ and TJ held another ceremony as a gift to their parents who missed the first one.
