Introducing herself as “Bestie-na Aguilera,” a playful reference to American singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera, “Everybody, Sing!” host Vice Ganda welcomed pairs of best friends into the studio for a weekend of music, laughter, and unconditional friendship.
The Unkabogable Host led the Songbayanan ng Mag-Best Friends into the first round of the lyric-guessing game, where she met Joy and Duday, whose friendship began over drinks. Alongside the selected “repre-sing-tatives” in the “Sing in the Blank” game, best friends Joy and Duday were challenged to fill in the missing lyrics of a song. With a 12-second head start, the Songbayanan scored six correct answers to music legend Celine Dion’s timeless track, “Because You Loved Me.”

As the next batch of “song-pu” prepared to take on the “Lip-Sing” segment, Vice Ganda shared a humorous exchange with best friends Makmak and GD, whom she later discovered were also in-laws. Tasked with determining the missing lyrics of “Palagi” by singer couple KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde, the Songbayanan ng Mag-Best Friends did their best to decipher the words mouthed by stand-up comedians Iyah Mina and Makki Lucino. Their unmatched energy paid off as the Songbayanan earned a perfect score, correctly guessing all 10 missing lyrics and securing an additional 20 seconds.

Joining in on the fun during the community singing game show’s Saturday episode, “Ang Gen Z Bestie ni Kuya” Alexa Ilacad wowed the Songbayanan with a short performance of Moonstar88’s classic hit, “Torete,” before choosing four “repre-sing-tatives” to help her in the “Singko Blanko” Saturday jackpot game. Alexa’s group won ₱40,000 and earned two additional seconds for the round after successfully singing along to Lea Salonga’s rendition of OPM icon Ogie Alcasid’s “Nandito Ako.”
Filling the set with nostalgia, Inspirational Diva Jamie Rivera teamed up with the resident band, Six Part Invention, to perform her song “I’ve Fallen for You” during the “The ChooSing One” segment. Given two lyric choices, the Songbayanan ng Mag-Best Friends successfully earned a perfect score of 10 correct answers, much to Jamie’s delight, bringing their accumulated time to 54 seconds.
Before the Songbayanan advanced to the “Sing Tunog” round, best friends Ria and Cole captured the attention of Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar as they shared hilarious stories about their friendship. Relying on resident jammer Ayegee Paredes to determine the missing lyrics based on the rhyming word clues, the Songbayanan ng Mag-Best Friends came close to securing another perfect score, earning 18 additional seconds.

Best friends Berna and Jeannie couldn’t help but get emotional as they shared with Vice Ganda the challenges they had faced together. Hoping to win big during the “Ayu-Sing Mo” segment, the Songbayanan ng Mag-Best Friends had to rearrange four words to form the original lyrics of Brownman Revival’s “Maling Akala.” With four correct guesses, the Songbayanan added 16 more seconds to their jackpot timer.

Entering the “Everybody GuesSing” Sunday jackpot game with a total of 88 seconds on the clock, the Songbayanan ng Mag-Best Friends were on a mission to complete 10 song titles for a chance to win the ₱1 million jackpot. Listening carefully to the corresponding instrumentals, the Songbayanan managed to identify only eight song titles before time ran out. They failed to name Hagibis’ “Ilagay Mo Kid” and Janine Berdin’s “Mas Mabuti Pa.”
Despite falling short of the jackpot, the Songbayanan ng Mag-Best Friends walked away with total winnings of ₱200,000—₱40,000 from the “Singko Blanko” Saturday jackpot segment and ₱160,000 from the “Everybody GuesSing” Sunday jackpot round.
