From an award-winning burger making a one-day comeback to new dining options, holiday offerings and late-night deals, there’s plenty happening in Metro Manila’s food and beverage scene. 


Manila Marriott brings back award-winning burger for one day

The Manila Marriott Hotel is bringing back its gold-winning Multigrain Kaiser Burger for one day on October 9 as part of its 17th anniversary celebration.

Created by chef Glen Endozo, the burger recently won the highest gold distinction at the 2026 Philippine Culinary Cup. It will be available at Marriott Café Bakery for P350, including fries and a complimentary can of Coca-Cola.

Greatroom Al Fresco will also serve live-prepared smashburgers for P200, including a complimentary can of Coca-Cola.


‘Bongga Ka, ‘Day’ offers theater-and-dining bundles

Newport World Resorts is offering dining and hotel packages for theatergoers watching “Bongga Ka, ’Day!: The Annie Batungbakal Musical” at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

 the Buffet + Musical package includes one ticket and a lunch or dinner buffet for one at Kusina Sea Kitchens at Hilton Manila, S Kitchen at Sheraton Manila Hotel, Marriott Café at Manila Marriott Hotel or Yawaragi at Hotel Okura Manila. The package starts at P4,950.

The Watch & Dine package, meanwhile, pairs two musical tickets with a set menu for two at Casa Buenas. Rates range from P7,600 for Silver seats to P11,300 for SVIP.

For those who prefer a full staycation, the Watch & Stay package includes two musical tickets, an overnight stay at Hilton Manila and breakfast for two. Rates start at P14,300 for Silver seats, P16,200 for Gold, P17,200 for VIP and P18,000 for SVIP. An overnight stay at Sheraton Manila Hotel starts at P15,500, with rates varying according to seat category. Rates include ticketing platform fees.


Italianni’s extends P30 anniversary promo

Italianni’s has extended its 30 for 30 anniversary promo until October 16, giving diners more time to enjoy select favorites for P30.

The offer is available Mondays through Fridays when customers order any main dish, pasta or pizza. Choices include Shrimp & Basil Aglio Olio, Panna Cotta, Angel Hair Pomodoro, Mussels Lombardi, Pizzetta, Baked Ziti and Eggplant Parmigiana.

The promo is available for dine-in at all Italianni’s locations, with a maximum of two redemptions per table.


Kaokee serves up roast goose for the holidays

Kaokee Singaporean Kitchen is getting into the holiday spirit with its Roast Goose, available in limited quantities at its SM Podium branch through December.

The roast goose comes in two sizes: Regular at P1,988, good for one to two people, and Sharing at P3,888, good for three to four people. Each order comes with plum and hoisin sauces.

Kaokee, a concept by Mc Wilson Group, serves Singaporean-Chinese comfort food, or zi char, alongside Singaporean hawker and kopitiam favorites.


Denny’s launches late-night 2+1 drinks offer

Denny’s is giving late-night diners another reason to stay out with its 2+1 Drinks offer, available daily from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The promotion covers selected beverages, including coffee, mocktails, cocktails and juices. Guests pay for the two higher-priced drinks and get a third drink as part of the offer.

Participating branches include Denny’s One Ayala, One Maridien, Eastwood Mall, Estancia Mall, Grand Venice Mall, Uptown Parade, SM City Clark, Ayala Malls Vermosa and several branches outside Metro Manila.


Seafood 8 by Olio’s opens at Gateway Mall 2

Seafood 8 by Olio’s has officially opened at The Lagoon in Gateway Mall 2, bringing a seafood-focused dining concept to Araneta City.

The restaurant, led by Australia-based chef Oliver “Oli” Buenviaje, centers its menu on fresh seafood paired with eight signature sauces.

Its opening menu includes Pacific Oysters, Tanigue Ceviche, Halaan Tinola Soup, Dover Sole Meunière, Branzino al Sale, Fresh Tiger Lobster with calamansi hollandaise and chili supreme XO sauce, and Tuna Belly with miso den and Latin chimichurri sauce.

Seafood 8 by Olio’s is part of World Kitchens, led by Singaporean food and beverage executive Andrew Tan Hock Lai.
