The Pokémon truck is set to go around Metro Manila and neighboring cities starting this October.
The custom-built, 17-foot truck, which has LED displays and comfortable sofa seating, has welcomed more than 250,000 visitors across its tours in Malaysia and Singapore.
It will be roving along specific routes in Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor, Muntinlupa, Imus, Dasmariñas and General Trias from October 2 to January 24 next year.
There will be six Nintendo Switch 2 gaming stations, allowing visitors to try the Pokémon games for themselves. Four of them inside the truck will feature Pokémon Pokopia, while the other two offer a selection of Nintendo games at featured stops.
The Pokémon truck will circulate city areas on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. From Friday to Sunday, it will be anchored at select locations which will also have an event stage and additional activity zones:
- October 2 to 4 and January 8 to 10: Market! Market!
- October 9 to 11 and December 4 to 6: Ayala Malls Vermosa
- October 16 to 18 and January 15 to 17: Ayala Malls Manila Bay

"We're bringing the Pokémon truck to malls across Metro Manila so that as many people in the Philippines as possible can enjoy this experience," Kenichiro Fujino, manager at The Pokémon Company, said in a statement.
The Pokémon truck coincides with the 30th anniversary celebration of the Japanese media franchise which kicks off this October.
Highlights include the opening of the first Pokémon Center pop-up at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, and the themed fun runs on October 3 and 4.
