Sibol Women faltered against Malaysia, 3-4, to settle for the silver medal in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday in Thailand.
This marks the national team's back-to-back second-place results in the biennial sporting meet, after finishing with the same result in the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games.
The Nationals actually led 3-2 and reached match point first, but the surging Malaysians clawed their way back to snatch the SEA Games title.
