Filipino judoka Chino Sy Tancontian secured the gold medal in the men's -100kg in judo at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
The Davaoeño athlete reigned over Gede Ganding Kalbu Soethama of Indonesia via ippon.
He clinched the country's first gold on Saturday.
He also went 3-0 in the tourney at the Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi Auditorium.
