MANILA -- A local apparel brand is looking to elevate its profile in the volleyball scene, starting with signing veteran Michele Gumabao from the powerhouse Creamline squad in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
World Balance officially inked its partnership with Gumabao last week, where they expressed their intent to make the three-time PVL Best Opposite Spiker the face of their volleyball line.
The brand had launched its first volleyball shoe, the Court Striker, last year.
"As athletes, we look for gear that not only performs well but also supports us throughout our journey. I appreciate how World Balance actively backs both seasoned players and grassroots development. I’m happy to be part of a brand that values and uplifts the volleyball community," said Gumabao.
Even before signing Gumabao, World Balance was already associated with the player, as it is the official outfitter of Rebisco teams Creamline and Choco Mucho.
