Arthur Nery to feature new songs in upcoming concert

MANILA -- Following his sold-out concert at New Frontier Theater in 2022, singer-songwriter Arthur Nery will headline a solo concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 25, 2024.

Known for his chart-topping hits like "Pagsamo" and "Take All The Love," Nery says the concert will feature fresh tracks from his newly released album "II: The Second".

"God is my witness, sabi ko po talaga sa Viva management 'sure po ba kayo?' Kasi po ako po I will never be prepared for an Araneta Coliseum concert like ever in my dreams hindi ko inasahan," the singer said when asked about having a show at the Big Dome.

Adding to the excitement, Nery talks about his new album"II: The Second"whichcomes with collaborations from artists like Kiyo, Jolianne and Jon, creating a rich and diverse sonic experience.

The tracklist for "II: The Second" includes a promising and dynamic collection of songs: "Na Naman", "I Gotchu", "Di Nakakasawa" (feat. Kiyo), "Lullaby" (feat. Jolianne), "Get Going" (feat. Jon), "O Ninanais", "Nasa'king Damdamin", "Segundo Siguro", "Foolish" and "Paalam Lang Ang Palagi".

According to Nery,he was also hands-on in producing and arranging the said album along with his smooth vocals, clever wordplay, and emotive melodies.

"Minsan bigla ko na lang naiisip ang lyrics sinusulat ko kaagad or minsan tinatawag ko yung mga naiisip ko na possible na maging kanta," he revealed.

Consideredone of today's OPM hitmakers with 6.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 355,000 subscribers to YouTube music from his album "Letters Never Sent" in 2019, the singer also revealed that he is still not used to the popularity he's getting now.

"I'm just Arthur and just a simple human. As much as I want to embrace the star figure. I'm just a kid who always dreams to be a good performer and I think 'yung pressure and responsibility siguro that comes with artistry doon po ako nagwo-worry pero as a person, I just wanna be the same Arthur," he explained.

The singer is all excited about this major event in his career with his new album and concert solidifying his status as one of the most exciting voices in Filipino music today.
