Actress and host Pauleen Luna started 2024 on a high note as she and her husband, veteran host and actor Vic Sotto, welcomed another beautiful addition to their family. In January, Pauleen announced the birth of their second child, Thia, whom she lovingly calls "Mochi”.
“Thia Marceline Sotto aka Mochi. January 23, 2024 8.2 lbs Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes!" Pauleen captioned her post.

Yasmien Kurdi
Actress Yasmien Kurdi shared her birthing journey on her social media. Yasmien admitted that the coming of Raya Layla, her second with husband Rey Soldevilla, was quite challenging. She opened up about having to undergo a cesarean section due to various high-risk health factors.
“After a series of tests, we found out that my Cesarean scar was still thin, not a good indication. We opted for Cesarean section the day I labored. We also found out during the procedure that the baby had a cord coil,” Yasmien explained. “I chose to do whatever it took to get my baby out healthy and safe!”

Maja Salvador
Actress Maja Salvador excitedly took on her new role as a first-time mom as she gave birth to Maria Reanna, her first daughter with husband Rambo Nunez, in June.
The new mom shared a touching photo on social media of her and Rambo holding Maria for the first time, along with details of her hours-long labor.
“I experienced an intense 30-hour labor, 12 hours without epidural, 3 hours of pushing. Then ended up having episiotomy and forceps. 2 contractions and 7 pushes later, we finally welcomed our baby Maria,” Maja recalled. “Immediately had 10 minutes of skin-to-skin contact with her, but biglang nagka emergency... I had uterine inversion. Kaya kinailangan nilang kunin sakin si Maria at binigay nila kay Rambo who was seated helplessly next to my bed.”
“To My Maria, EVERYTHING IS WORTH IT! I LOVE YOU ANAK π©·,” she added.

Dianne Medina and Rodjun Cruz
Celebrity couple Dianne Medina and Rodjun Cruz received the best anniversary gift when they welcomed their daughter, Maria Isabella Elizabeth, in June — the same day as their 17th anniversary as a couple.
The happy family expressed their excitement over welcoming Isabella, whom they called an answered prayer.
“17 years na tayo today simula nung sinagot mo ako wife wife @dianne_medina. The best na regalo ang binigay satΔ±n ni Lord ngayon.!ππ―βπ» Grabe! Ang ating second baby. Our princess @isabella_ilustre,” Rodjun penned in a post.
“Welcome to the world our Answered prayer /Princess @isabella_ilustre !β¨ππ We love you so much! God bless you always !βπ».”
Dianne and Rodjun revealed that they were expecting their second child on March 31, of the same year.

Sheena Halili
It was in August when actress Sheena Halili welcomed Jio, her second child with husband Jeron Manzanero, amidst joyful singing.
Sheena, who had to undergo an emergency Cesarean section while awake, asked the medical staff to grant her special request to sing her favorite song to help ease the pain and nervousness.
“Sa totoo lang natakot ako dahil another first time nanaman ito! Grabe ang kaba ko dahil inopen ang tummy ko para kunin si baby nang gising ka π€ͺ para ma distract ko ang sarili kong maramdaman ang nangyayari down there ay nag request nalang ako ng song para sabayan kumanta,” she said.
“Siyempre yung videoke piece ko na 'Dadalhin' sung by my ninang (Regine Velasquez) Natatawa nalang sila pati pala asawa ko pag pasok nagulat na kumakanta ako π pero ako nag concentrate para maiwasan kong kabahan!” she added.

Angeline Quinto
Kapamilya singer Angeline Quinto had one of the most memorable gender reveals in 2024, jumping in with the ‘Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas’ trend last May.
Angeline surprised her fans with a special twist in her video entry, when the camera panned down to show her baby bump. The next scene featured Angeline, her husband Nonrev Daquina, and their son Sylvio enjoying a sweet moment before playing the traditional game pukpok palayok. A blindfolded Angeline smashed the clay pot, revealing a shower of pink confetti, signaling they were expecting a baby girl.
In August of the same year, Angeline gave birth to their daughter, Azena Sylvia.
Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Boy Sotto
Celebrity couple Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Boy Sotto received a wonderful blessing with the arrival of their newest bundle of joy.
In February 2024, Kristine announced they were expecting their sixth child. On September 3, she gave birth to their baby boy, Isaac Timothy.

Although they choose to keep the details private, actress and producer Sylvia Sanchez still managed to share some moments with her first grandson on social media.
In a previous interview, Sylvia revealed that she had bought a pair of shoes for her future grandchild three years before Ria and Zanjoe’s baby was born.

"It was smooth. I think it was like less painful that what I thought," Alodia shared, describing the birth of her first baby with husband Christopher Quimbo in her YouTube vlog.
