As one of busiest actors this year after starring in the hit series It’s Okay To Not Be Okay and shooting films like The Time That Remains and his Metro Manila Film Festival entry this year, Bar Boys: After School, Carlo Aquino admits that he and wife Charlie Dizon have decided to focus on growing their family in 2026.
“Nag-ta-try kami and praying na sana mapagbigyan. Pero nagdadasal kami na sana talaga mabigyan kami next year,” he shared during an interview with the press at the MMFF Parade of Stars event held last December 19 in Makati City.
The 40-year-old actor, who has a five-year-old daughter named Enola Mithi from a previous relationship with model Trina Candaza, shares that he and Charlie have agreed that they are both ready to welcome a new addition to their family, regardless of what the gender will be. “Yeah. Ako din. Ako din talaga ready na. Wala (gender preference), basta healthy.
Apart from their personal goals, Carlo also revealed what he and his wife are currently saving up for, as well as what else they want to achieve in their respective showbiz careers. “Dream house, ganun. Parang Goblin, ganun,” he shared.

When asked if he already had specific actors in mind that he would love to direct someday, Carlo said he is more determined to direct specific film genres that interest him the most. “Mahirap, mahirap kasi masyadong marami eh.
