
MANILA -- OPM singer-songwriter Ice Seguerra shed tears as he sang a song for his mother Caridad "Caring" Yamson-Seguerra for the last time.
On Facebook, Seguerra uploaded a video, which shows him singing Bread's "Everything I Own," which was mommy Caring's favorite song.
In the caption, Seguerra finally bade goodbye to his mother and said that he would regret it if he would not sing for his mommy for one last time.
"As a kid, my greatest fear was losing you. Akala ko kapag tumanda na ako, mas madali kong harapin ‘yon. Hindi pala," Seguerra shared.
"Today, I say goodbye to you, my mama. I told myself I wouldn’t sing, but deep in my heart, I knew I’d regret not singing for you one last time. This was your favorite song. Now, it has a whole different meaning for me. Every line captures how I see you and what I’m feeling. I would give everything I own...just to have you back again. I love you so much. For Always. I will miss you forever."

Last Friday, June 27, Seguerra shared the sad news that his mother mommy Caring passed away.

Seguerra's father Decoroso "Dick" Seguerra, passed away due to prostate cancer in 2020.
In his previous updates, the OPM singer-songwriter has been vocal in praising and paying tribute to his mother Caring.
