Celebrity couple John Prats and Isabel Oli are mourning the loss of their beloved fur baby Uber, who passed away on October 3.
John took a trip down memory lane as he remembered the Maltese dog he welcomed into his life in 2012, recalling how their shared birthday made their meeting feel destined.
“In 2012, I got you, UBER. Ang funny pa nung nakuha kita kasi nalaman ko na pareho tayo ng birthday. Parang meant to be talaga na maging magkasama tayo. π€,” he began. “Pero alam ko, ikaw talaga ang nag-save sa akin nung mga panahon na yun. You gave me sooo much joy and love, more than you’ll ever know.”
Over the years, Uber remained by John’s side as his life changed. John thanked Uber for the love she gave before he started his own family with Isabel and eventually became a familiar presence in the lives of their children.
John is currently in Texas for Yeng Constantino’s Byaheng Bente concert, where he serves as director. Being away from home when Uber passed made saying goodbye even more painful for the actor.
“Hindi ko alam na ganito pala kasakit magpaalam sa’yo. Mas ang hirap pa kasi wala ako sa tabi mo nung nawala ka. Ang sakit na hindi kita nayakap at nasamahan sa huling moments mo. Sana naramdaman mo kung gaano kita kamahal, kahit wala ako diyan. π”
Despite not being able to be with Uber during her final moments, John held on to the years of memories they shared, from the time when it was just the two of them to the family they eventually built.
“From those days na tayo lang, hanggang sa naging buong pamilya na tayo… ang dami nating memories. I’ll carry them with me forever. I love you sooo much, my UBER. Thank you for being part of our family, and for letting us be yours,” he said.
“Rest in dog heaven, my baby. Mahal na mahal ka namin. πΎπ€,” John ended.

For Isabel, Uber held a special place in their relationship even before she and John became husband and wife.
In an Instagram post, she recalled meeting Uber in 2013, during the early days of her relationship with John. What started as Uber being John’s pet eventually became something more personal for both of them.
“You were his dog then, but somehow, you became our first baby πΆ,” she maintained.
Isabel remembered Uber as the "sweetest, happiest little soul" while also being a playful companion for whom they brought everywhere they could.
“You were such an easy dog to love. You rarely got sick, never caused us trouble, and you never asked for much. Just our presence. And every time we came home from work or wherever we went, you’d greet us with so much excitement, as if we had been gone forever. That little jump of joy is something I know I’ll miss terribly," she continued, adding how Uber became their children's playmate and companion over the years.
“And now, I still can’t believe we lost you today. Our home will feel different now that you’re not with us. Your little presence, your happy greetings, your spot on our laps, all the little things we sometimes took for granted are suddenly the things we would give anything to have back," Isabel maintained. “There are no words big enough for this kind of pain. I just know I’m going to miss you every single day.”

Amid the grief, Isabel found comfort in imagining Uber reunited with their other beloved pets in heaven as well as her father.
“But I find comfort knowing that you’re with God now. And I imagine you running around in heaven with your playmates, Lemon and Maria, and our other beloved pets, especially Loki and Adan. And I know my Dad is there too. Knowing how much he loved dogs, I’m sure he’s taking care of you for us until the day we meet again.”
Isabel ended her tribute by honoring Uber’s years with their family and the special place she will continue to hold in their hearts.
“I love you sooooo much, Uber. My Uberlyn. Thank you for growing with us, loving us, and being part of our family for all these years.
You will always be our first baby, and you will forever have a place in our hearts. Run free, my Uber. Until we meet again π€πΎ,” she ended.
The couple's friends and fans have shared their sympathies and condolences following the death of their beloved fur baby.
