The brainchild of celebrity couple Ice Seguerra and Liza Diño, Fire and Ice Entertainment officially launched their management creative ecosystem earlier this month. The couple proudly introduced to the local media their 30-member team that handles events, music, and talent management, as well as other exciting projects they have lined up this year at a press conference in Quezon City.
During the event, Ice shared that the story behind building Fire and Ice Studios came about when Liza wanted to get back into dancing and rekindle her love for flamenco.
“Itong studio na 'to, itong espasyo na 'to, isa 'to sa matagal na naming pinapangarap ni Liza. Ang sarap kapag merong kang gagalawan eh. Ang sarap kapag meron kang pag pe-perform-an, kapag meron kang pag-papa-practice-san. Ako yung nag start talaga nitong studio na 'to kasi gusto meron akong pag re-rehearse-san. Sabi ko pa gusto ko meron sia Liza place para mag-flamenco. It grew from there.
"Isa lang naman talaga yung focus namin eh, to give the artists the best possible experience while they're creating. So today Fire and Ice Studios is a shared creative space where artists from different disciplines come together and we’re very excited in opening that space to more people who need a place for honest creative work,” he said.

Ice shared that the space is now being used for some of the country’s top musical talents and includes Fire & Ice’s collaborations with other local arts companies.
“So imagine, we started with a one space, 70 square meter studio that naturally grew into something more. It became a space where ideas could sit, grow, and be tested. An intimate venue for immersive events, workshops and creative experiments, because I think ganun yung kailangan ng art, 'di ba? Kailangan natin ng espasyo para lalo pa nating mapalawak ang mga dapat natin gawin. And we’re very glad because you know from just me, sa una kung rehearsal with sir Noel Cabangon, and now we are also partnering with PETA for their other studios and nakakatuwa lang because nag grow talaga sya. Yung mga idol ko diyan na din nag re-rehearse, sila Gary V., Jed Madela, Bituin Escalante, and many more. It became a home for artists we admire, musicians, and fans who needed a place where they could rehearse for hours, be comfortable, supported, and be taken care of,” Ice shared.

As their entertainment company’s Chief Creative Officer (CCO), Ice hopes to promote and musical talents but to really take care of the artists as well.
“Fire and Ice for me is very important because we’re not only doing projects for nothing, performing. Masasabi ko na, of course, apart from the films. Ito yung tatatak sa maraming tao because we all know we love music and music is such a big part of all of us. And hindi lang music but the artist who actually sings these songs is actually very important to us as well,” he said.

As he gears up for his Being Ice concert happening on Friday, February 27, Ice explained why the show’s latest venue is extra special to him.
“Masasabi ko na sa New Frontier (theater) sa Cubao nagsimula ang lahat para sa'kin. Nagsimula lahat sakin sa Cubao dahil dun ako lumaki, dun ako dumadaan pagka galing ako sa eskuwela, at uuwi ng bahay. Marami sa mga pelikula ko ang ang premiere sa New Frontier. Yung time na nalaos ako, sa Cubao na kami parang nag gig sa isang bar sa may gilid and tawagin nating Joker,” he recalled.
