Kapamilya singer and songwriter Inigo Pascual shared his experience with love. In the June 5 episode of PUSH It, the "Ikaw at Ikaw" singer revealed what he learned from his previous undisclosed relationship.
Inigo expressed that he had done everything out of love in the past and had even lost himself at one point.

“That’s when you realize yung mga bagay na kaya mong gawin sa pagmamahal. Kahit na sabihin sa'yo ng marami na sa paligid mo na parang hindi na tama, hindi na logical yung ginagawa mo para sa taong mahal mo, bulag na bulag ka pa rin. Kasi para sa'yo, you’re doing it out of love,” he shared.
The Kapamilya singer-actor added how it took him a long time to let go even if he already realized what was happening to him. It was only when a specific event happened that he was finally able to leave.
“Siguro specific moment is nung ako pa rin yung being blamed for something that she did to me. I mean, ako pa yung may kasalanan sa nangyayari when it wasn’t even my fault to begin with. I was like, malabo na so I think we’re good at where we are at–– bago pa mauso yung term na gaslight,” he recalled.
Inigo found himself again when he went to America, where he stayed for quite some time. He shared that he was just able to be himself and credited his friends for helping him along the way.

He then went on to explain how difficult the process of letting go of someone really is because of the pattern that’s been built over time.
“Minsan, sasabihin mo ayoko na… Kahit sabihin mo na tama na, babalik at babalikan pa rin kasi that’s how love is. You really never know when it’s time to let go. It just happens,” he said.
“Gagawin mo siya naturally kasi mahirap mag-let go sa isang tao na minahal mo nang napakatagal. It’s hard. Even though you know it’s time to let go, minsan hindi mo siya ilelet go kasi yun yung sinasabi ng puso mo,” he added.
He asserted that people should listen to their friends as well.
Meanwhile, Inigo’s "Ikaw at Ikaw" is now available for streaming on all online music platforms. This is his comeback project with ABS-CBN’s music label, Star Music.
