Kapamilya actress Bianca de Vera and Kapuso actor Dustin Yu shared their opinions on unfollowing and unfriending people on social media. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this month, the former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemates also shared their take on receiving bashing and on making cosmetic enhancements.

For Bianca, she maintained that she has never unfollowed or unfriended someone.

“I don’t think I’ve ever done that, yung unfollowing a person or unfriending [someone]. For me, parang kunyari sa Instagram or on social media platforms, for me, nasa tao naman yun kung gusto nilang gawin,” she explained.

“Kasi ako, alam ko for some people like my friends, kasi para sa sarili nilang peace yun. But, personally, Dustin and I, we don’t need to do that anymore,” she added.

Adding to the discussion, Dustin maintained that while he doesn’t do it, he sometimes wonders why someone would do that to him.

“Well of course, magtataka ka bakit ako inunfriend kasi of course may pinagsamahan kayo kahit papaano but at the end of the day, kailangan mo nalang din mag move forward sa mga tao na kasama mo sa buhay,” he expressed.

In the same interview, Bianca then gave her opinion on the bashing and nasty comments that happen on social media. She admitted how she used to get hurt by comments in the past, but has learned how to ignore them as she got older.

“Although, it came to a point before na tuwing binabash ako, I do get hurt. Lagi ako nagbabasa, I’m always so conscious of what people think of me, and I said in an interview before that it actually took me a while in order to build this kind of gut. Kasi di ba sa industriya natin, patibayan ng sikmura? Ngayon, okay na pero before siyempre it was hard,” she maintained.

Meanwhile, Bianca and Dustin are set to hold DustBia Love, Actually, this August 8 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. Tickets are available through TicketNet outlets nationwide and ticketnet.com.ph.
