Selena Gomez celebrated a meaningful birthday as she also marked the sixth anniversary of the Rare Impact Fund, an organization dedicated to supporting youth mental health.

On Instagram, Selena expressed her gratitude to everyone who sent her birthday greetings and continued to support her work.

"First, I have to thank each of you immensely for your support, kindness, and all the bday wishes. Every single day I get to create because of all of you. Thank you for always making me the happiest girlie in the world 🌎 ♥️," she wrote.

The singer and actress then reflected on how meaningful it was to celebrate her birthday alongside the organization’s latest milestone.

"Little me would never believe I’d get to celebrate my birthday alongside 6 years of the Rare Impact Fund. My heart is so full today. Watching this community come together to support youth mental health has been the greatest gift, so thank YOU. Selena launched Rare Impact Fund in 2020 on her birthday.

As per rareimpactfund.org, the Rare Impact Fund "was started by Selena Gomez as part of her commitment to addressing mental health and self-acceptance."

"We are mobilizing $100 million in contributions for youth mental health," the website added.

The Rare Impact Fund aims to ensure that every young person can access mental health care, supportive communities free from stigma, and resources tailored to their individual cultures, experiences, and needs.

Meanwhile, Selena will return for the four-episode conclusion of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, which is scheduled to premiere in August.

The third and final season will also mark her directorial debut. According to an earlier press release from The Walt Disney Company, Selena, who serves as an executive producer, will direct the season’s opening episode and reprise her role as Alex Russo in several episodes.

The story will pick up after Alex’s disappearance at the end of season 2. Still struggling with the loss, Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown) learns that rescuing her mother will require her to find and reunite with her long-lost father. As the Russo family searches for Alex, Billie discovers that they must combine their powers to defeat the evil threatening them.
