Heart Evangelista revealed that she once donated a heart-shaped diamond ring given to her by a former boyfriend to charity.
The actress-host shared the story while answering a relationship-related question on her GMA game show The People Have Spoken: “Hindi maayos ang breakup n'yo ng dyowa mong nagtaksil sa'yo. Ano ang gagawin mo sa mga regalo n'ya sa'yo?”
"Masyadong personal pero ibibigay ko, show naman natin 'to," Heart candidly expressed.
“Merong nag-propose sa akin dati. Hindi naman siya official na [proposal] pero binigyan niya ako ng heart na diamond. Tatlong diamond na [pinagsama-sama para sa] illusion na heart."
However, after their relationship ended, Heart admitted that the heartbreak led her to let go of the sentimental piece.
“Sobrang heartbroken ko, pinamigay ko siya sa charity,” she said.
She also revealed that she dealt with another piece of jewelry from the same former boyfriend differently.
"Yung isang necklace na binigay niya sa akin, binenta ko. Charot," she quipped.
Heart did not identify the former boyfriend she was referring to, although she is known to have relationships in the past with fellow celebrities.
Just last June, the actress-host opened up about her experiences in love in an interview with Boy Abunda, where she admitted feeling like a "sugar mommy" in a previous romance.
“Lagi akong gumagastos...sira ako sa lalaki. That’s my language of love. That’s always been my language of love,” she explained. “I’m very, very giving. I’m very generous.”
“But I did have one boyfriend that I felt was not too [proper]... I didn’t like. There is something [about him] that left a bad taste in my mouth. Parang, I felt like ‘Okay...I feel like I’m a sugar mommy na’ parang ganiyan.”
She likewise chose not to reveal the identity of the former partner she was referring to at the time.
Heart's publicly known former relationships include John Prats, whom she has described as her first love, Jericho Rosales, and Daniel Matsunaga.
In 2015, Heart married Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero. The couple later renewed their wedding vows in 2024 at Balesin Island, where they first got married.
During their vow renewal, Heart expressed how much her husband has meant to her throughout their relationship.
“Getting married again the second time around — we’re even now — it seems like it’s actually my first, and I do truly believe it’s actually my first time because I knew what love was before, but now I know what love should be."

“How my life would’ve been if you weren’t around. You are not just a husband, but you are the greatest angel there is. I sold my soul and you bought it back for me. You soften all the edges, you rearrange the stars, and you have brought it down to where I am,” she continued.
Meanwhile, Senator Chiz also acknowledged the highs and lows they had experienced together.
“We’ve been through a lot of highs, a lot of lows, maraming masaya, minsan may malungkot. There was a time where I wished and prayed to God, hiniling ko na sana ‘yung bukas ko, maging ngayon na lang, ‘yung ngayon ko, maging nakaraan na agad. Sa araw na ‘to, binigay at isinakatuparan ng Diyos ‘yun,” he said.
“I promise that I will stand by your side, and I promise to love you as I grow much, much, much older. I love you and I always will,” he maintained.
