Actress and host Camille Prats took to social media to remember her beloved family dog, Gucci, who passed away after 16 years with their family.
On Instagram, Camille penned a heartfelt tribute to Gucci, whom she described as a source of joy and love for their family.
“Dearest Gucci, You have brought so much joy into our lives. You have witnessed so many things in the 16 years you have faithfully loved us, Nathan was only 2 when you became a part of our family,” Camille recalled.
The actress-host also shared how Gucci remained with her family even after she moved out of their home, becoming a beloved companion to the growing family.
“From being my bb to mimi ‘stealing’ your love by enticing you with food you oh so love 😆 When I moved out of our family home, you stayed behind because mom and the rest of the family wouldn’t let you go.🥹 That’s how much loved you are. From just Nathan, you played, snuggled and loved all the kids that came year after year until they were 10 in total,” she added.
She went on to recall how patient Gucci was with the children, who would spend time playing and cuddling with their beloved pet. “You spent all your energy playing with them until what’s left is just being by their side. You have always been patient with each one of them when they bug you, annoy you, and play with you unendingly.”
Although Camille admitted that it took her some time before she could share the sad news, she chose to remember Gucci through the many memories they made together.
“Our snuggle buddy, playmate, besty for life.
It was a joy to experience your love we so don’t deserve.
We love you Guch. So so much.
No more pain 🫶🏻 always remembering you in our dreams,” she expressed.
Friends, fellow celebrities, and followers also sent messages of comfort to Camille and her family in the comments section.

Camille has openly shared her love for animals and her family’s pet dogs on social media. In 2024, Camille and her husband VJ Yambao and their family welcomed a new fur baby when they adopted a giant poodle named Mocha.
The family has also shared glimpses of their time with their pets, including visits to pet-friendly places and trips to pet salons.
