Content creator and entrepreneur Rosmar Tan expressed her appreciation for her husband, Jerome Pamulaklakin, after he decided to undergo a vasectomy.
Rosmar shared the news on Facebook, posting photos of herself with Jerome following the procedure.
“1st photo together after Vasectomy,” she wrote.
According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, a vasectomy is a surgical procedure used as a "lasting (permanent) male birth control" for adult men.

For Rosmar, Jerome’s decision gave her another reason to appreciate him as her husband.
“Mas lalo mo ako binigyan ng dahilan para mas mahalin ka Jerome Pamulaklakin kasi di lahat ng lalaki kayang gawin yan," she wrote.
She continued: “Sobra ko naappreciate asawa ko.🥹💕”
Jerome, for his part, responded to his wife in the comments section.
“Mahal din kita Asawa ko.😘❤️😍”
Several netizens also praised Jerome for taking a huge step into their family planning, with some expressing their appreciation for men who choose to undergo vasectomy.
“Wow, I'm really proud of the men who take the initiative 🥰👏,” one commented.
“Bihira lang mga lalaki lakas loob magpa-vasectomy ma'am,” another added.
“Yan ang tunay na lalaki bibinigyan ng seguridad ang asawang babae. Mabuhay po kayo Jerome at Rosemarie Tan,” a fan wrote.
Rosmar and Jerome share three children. In August, the content creator revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage while pregnant with their fourth child.
Following her announcement, Rosmar also addressed a netizen who accused her of having an abortion, shortly after she opened about the loss.
“Kahit buhay ko kaya ko alay sa mga anak ko. Bakit ko gagawin yan sinasabi nyo kung nakita nyo lang kung paano umiyak kanina asawa ko sa tiyan ko. Nung sinabi ng doctor na ‘Wala.’ Walang heartbeat. Hindi nadevelop. 💔💔💔”
Amid the difficult experience, Rosmar credited Jerome for being by her side and comforting her.
“Kahit anong sabihin at pang huhusga ng mga tao. Alam natin at ng Diyos ang totoo. Alam nyo na kung bakit strong ako. Kasi meron akong asawa at kabiyak na tulad mo, Jerome," she maintained.
Rosmar and Jerome tied the knot in 2021.
