Since confirming her engagement in a magazine interview earlier this year, Kylie Verzosa has chosen to keep the details of her relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend Emil Eriksen to a minimum, revealing only that they have been dating for two years before he officially popped the question while they were on a scenic hike in Côte d'Azur, France last year. During the 2026 Preview Ball held last September 10, the 34-year-old actress and beauty queen shared how she ended up finally finding the love of her life.
“I feel like when you give up on love, that’s when love comes. So I gave up on love. I’m like, ‘There’s no one here. Bahala na si Lord.’ So I feel like when you stop wanting something so much, that’s when it comes. Because you just let go. I just knew (he was the one). They always say when you know, you know. That’s when you know,” Kylie shared during an interview on the red carpet of the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport World Resorts in Pasay City.

Even after meeting her fiance through common friends, Kylie admitted it was not a case of love at first sight on her end. She shared that he put in a lot of effort to make her change her mind and go out with him.
“No, not instantly. He had to like, kind of, prove it (laughs),” she recalled.
With their wedding set for next year, Kylie said she has no plans to be a bridezilla and obsess on every little detail about her big day.
“Not at all. I want to be a planner more. So the wedding is next year. We had one meeting. I just wish I could wake up and then the wedding is there. But unfortunately, it needs to be prepped. I’m super chill. If anything, I’m just going to let it happen,” she said.

During the event, Kylie also got candid about how she does not always feel picture perfect everyday and even has her ‘losyang’ moments. “Super! Oh my God, kanina lang, I looked horrible. They call me a fashion girl, but sometimes I question that. If you see me at home, I have really bad choices sometimes,” she admitted.
Apart from being an actress and model, Kylie currently keeps her hands full with regular filming of her podcast as well as managing businesses, which include being the creative director of her shapewear and lifestyle brand Sola.
“I have so many goals. I feel like I’m just at the bottom. Unfortunately, I would love to clone myself. But I’m just one person. Honestly, I don’t think you can succeed now without being multi-faceted. I think gone are the days na iisa lang ang puwede gawin ng babae. Pero ngayon, you have to be a lot of things. Ngayon, let’s say you’ll be an actor but still make content, you can be a mother. Women are so multi-faceted. But it’s so important to rest. Learn how to prioritize things. Like ano ba yung importante sa day ngayon? Get the right support around you. Ako, I built the right team. I have really good people around me, supporting me with what I do,” she shared.
