Mister International 2025 Kirk Bondad bid farewell to his reign as he passed on his title to the new winner earlier this week. In his Instagram post, the Filipino-German model expressed his gratitude to everyone that was part of his successful stint as Mister International.
Kirk won the title a year ago and became the second titleholder coming from the Philippines–– after Neil Perez’s win in 2014. Meanwhile, John Wayne Alba, the country’s bet for this year’s competition ended his campaign in the Top 10.

In his post, Kirk recalled the emotions that he was feeling when his name was called by the hosts. He shared some throwback photos of the finals night which was held in Thailand.
“I still remember those few blurry seconds before my name was called. I couldn’t hear or feel much of anything. It felt like getting warped in to an eternal void, eradicated from senses, while my body and mind were bracing for impact. Hearing my name, was like getting hit my a sledgehammer,” Kirk recalled.
For the titleholder, it still feels so vivid for him even if a year has passed already since his winning moment.
“I knew, this feeling I’ll never experience the same way again,” he said.
“And what a year it was,” he added.
Friends and fans of Kirk expressed how proud they are in the comment section. Others shared how much of an inspiration he has been since he became Mister International about a year ago.
“Forever glad i witnessed this moment in person 🤎 you are one of the Mister International GOATs for sure,” a fan wrote.
“What a year👏🏻 so proud of you,” a friend added.

As his reign comes to an end, Kirk happily passed the title to Mexico’s Andres Briseño who bested all other competitors this year.
