He is now the Philippines' second Mister International winner, after Neil Perez in 2014.
Bondad earlier called Mister International as his "last dance" -- in 2024, he competed in Mr. World in Vietnam, where he placed in the Top 20.
From the candidate introductions to the swimsuit and formal wear rounds, the Filipino-German model and fitness trainer made sure to impress on the Mister International stage.

Bondad also delivered in the question and answer segments of the competition. In the first round, he was given the question: "In an era of fake news and misinformation, why is critical thinking important for the survival of democracy?"
He replied: "I think that topic is a very timely matter because social media is acting as a double-edged sword -- it can divide, but it can also unite. And one thing, especially now [that is] very prevalent, that you can see everywhere is that fake news is spreading."
"And I think critical thinking gives us the ability to see what truly matters. Because at the end of the day, every step counts. And if we can work together as humanity, we can progress in this world, and we can move forward to peace and progress."
In the final Q&A, Bondad was asked: "If you win Mister International and you are invited to speak at the United Nations, what one social or political issue would you choose to highlight and why?"
He opted to focus on children, saying "we need to protect them and give them a chance."
"Because today’s children will be tomorrow's leaders. Because ultimately, I believe if we can collectively do the right decisions, even in small steps, we will do a big impact internationally," he added.
Shortly after his win, Bondad said he is "one of the happiest people on earth right now," and his victory is even sweeter as his parents are there to celebrate with him.
He also thanked his team, as well as all of this supporters, for helping him win the Mister International 2025 title.
"Without you, this wouldn't be possible. So thank you so much," he said.
"The journey has just begun, and we will do so much more."
