Kapamilya actress Charlie Dizon gave her husband, actor Carlo Aquino, a sweet birthday tribute while giving followers a glimpse into the simple moments they share as a married couple.
In a recent Instagram post, Charlie shared a collection of photos and videos of Carlo as she expressed how much she loves seeing the different sides of her husband.
“Happy birthday to my husband, my favorite person, and my favorite view. These are the little moments I love the most, the ones where you’re simply being you,” the actress said.
She also shared how grateful she is to know the side of Carlo that not everyone gets to see. “I’m so grateful that I get to see all the sides of you that not everyone gets to see—your kindness, patience, thoughtfulness, your silly side, and the way you love and care for the people around you.”
Ending her message, Charlie wished Carlo a life filled with the same love and goodness he gives to others,
“My wish for you is that life gives back all the love and goodness you naturally give to others. I’ll always be here, cheering you on. Happy birthday, my love @jose_liwanag ❤️.”
The carousel of photos featured some of their everyday moments, including Carlo blow-drying Charlie’s hair, doing household chores, giving her a neck massage, dancing with her, and spending time with their loved ones and their fur baby.
Their sweet moments also drew birthday greetings and well-wishes from friends and fans.
Actress Nikki Valdez, who played Carlo’s onscreen sibling in the Ang Tanging Ina movie series greeted: “Happy Birthday, Tri!!!! 🫶 @jose_liwanag”
“Happy Birthday Kaloy! God Bless sa inyo ni April ❤️❤️,” a netizen said.

Charlie and Carlo tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Silang, Cavite, on June 9, 2024, surrounded by some of their closest friends in the industry.
In a previous interview on “Oh My Gan! with Ganiel Krishnan,” Charlie opened up about how her relationship with Carlo grew.
“Nung bago pa lang kami sa relationship naman, nasa isip ko na siya eh... na alam ko na na makakatuluyan ko ’to,” she said. “Kahit gaano kahirap, alam ko makakatuluyan ko ’to. May ganung feeling.”
Charlie also shared that one of the things that gave her confidence in their relationship was knowing that Carlo could take care and support her.
“Feeling ko nga may factor na parang alam kong kaya niya ako alagaan, kaya niya ako i-support,” she expressed. “Yung lagi din niya sinasabi na parang nasa soul level 'yung pagkakaintindihan. Iba 'yun eh. Kahit 'di kayo magsalita, alam mo yung feelings ng isa’t isa.”
She also recalled Carlo’s efforts to build a relationship with her family, including traveling from San Francisco to Sacramento to personally meet her family and eventually seek their blessing before proposing.
