Actor Christian Bables finally fulfilled one of his fanboy dreams as he watched K-pop supergroup BTS perform live during the Los Angeles stop of their ARIRANG World Tour.
On Instagram, Christian shared a glimpse of his concert experience and opened up about what it meant to finally see his favorite group perform live.
“I’ll always remember this night. Thank you, Bangtan, for making my first concert experience one of the most special core memories I have,” the actor wrote.
Aside from seeing the seven-member group perform live, Christian also had a special fanboy moment when he noticed that BTS member Suga was wearing the exact same outfit as him.
“I was having so much fun, but I completely lost it when I saw SUGA wearing the exact same outfit! As in muntik kong ikapahamak 😂 Ang saya! Isa pa!” he added.
The moment was made even more special because Christian had never attended a major concert before. In a post ahead of the show, he shared that he had intentionally saved his first concert experience for one of his favorite groups.
“I’ve never attended a big concert event in my entire life. Told myself that if I ever did, I wanted my first to be BTS, BLACKPINK, or SB19. Tomorrow, it finally comes true 😱,” Christian said along with a photo of his ARMY Bomb BTS lightstick.
Christian also brought his fans along for the experience, promising to document his first-ever concert through a vlog, saying: “ARMY Bomb is ready! See you tomorrow, Bangtan! I’ll be vlogging my entire first-concert experience at the BTS ARIRANG Tour here in LA, It will be posted in my youtube channel 😊 Link in my Bio! I can’t wait to take you all with me.”
Following the concert, fans joined Christian in celebrating the long-awaited experience, with fellow ARMYs expressing their excitement for him in the comments.
“OMG!!!!!! So happy for you 😍 Maaadik kana nyan manuod ng Arirang con pag naumpisahan mo na 😅,” a fan said.
Another one stated: “So happy for you fellow Army, @christiaaan06 nakakabitin ang 1 day diba, mag 2 days ka pa hehehehe ❤️”
Christian also gave fans a little more insight into his BTS favorites when he was asked about his biases and bias wrecker:“Bias is still taekook 🥹 But Suga has always been a wrecker. They all are, actually 😂”
Christian was not the only Filipino celebrity who caught BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Kapamilya star Belle Mariano also attended the LA leg, where she shared snapshots and clips from the concert, including moments of herself singing along to some of the global group’s hit tracks.
