Billy Crawford continues to bring Filipino pride to the international stage after lending his voice to one of the characters in the animated film "Forgotten Island" for its French release.

Crawford was revealed as the French voice actor of Bungi, the tiyanak character voiced by Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto in the film's original English version.

The former "It's Showtime" host also attended the film's premiere in Paris, where it is titled "L'Île de Souvenir," as seen in a report by One Filipino TV, which shared a joint Instagram post with Crawford.

"L'Île de Souvenir" will open in cinemas across France beginning October 21, according to One Filipino TV.

A DreamWorks Animation production, "Forgotten Island" tells the story of two best friends who become trapped in a mystical world filled with creatures from Philippine mythology.

Apart from Jacinto, the original English version features the voices of H.E.R, Liza Soberano, Dave Franco, Jenny Slate, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy and Lea Salonga, among others.
